Elf On The Shelf

It was a very exciting week for the K/1/2's! A package arrived to our classroom from the North Pole!! What did Santa send us?

Day 1:
Our package was freezing cold!!

Santa sent us an elf! Our elf will watch over our classroom until December 20th. He will be watching to see who will be on the nice list, and who will be on the naughty list. Every night the elf will fly back to the North Pole to report to Santa. In the morning he will come back to the classroom and find a hiding place. We can't touch the elf or he will lose his magic! Elves love adventures...but sometimes they can get into trouble!

The class took a vote on what we should name our elf. We decided on Balto!

Every morning the students write about Balto in their journals.

Day 2:
Balto made snow angels under the Christmas Tree.

Day 3:
Balto was sick today because he was touched! Santa sent us magical recovery dust to help restore Balto's magic!

Day 4:
Balto set up a kissing booth. All the critters were lined up to kiss Balto!
