Safety

This week we focused on stranger danger. On Tuesday, we read "Stranger Danger," by Peggy Pancella. We learned that a stranger is someone that we have never met before. Most strangers are kind but some can be dangerous. Then we made a list of safety tips:
1. Do not go places with strangers.
2. Do not take money or gifts from strangers.
3. Be alert to who is near and what is happening around you. Tell a trusted adult if anything seems strange.
4. Learn how to keep yourself safe and find help if you need it. Practice what to do so you can be prepared.
5. Learn you address and home phone number incase of emergency.

On Wednesday, we drew a picture of a grown up who could help us if we were in trouble. We also drew a picture of a safe place we could go.
