Last week, we completed our unit on Matter.
On Monday, we learned about liquids at home. Then we made a cake! We watched the cake turn from a liquid into a solid! We observed that temperature sometime causes matter to change.
On Wednesday, we read "Bartholomew and the Oobleck," by Dr. Seuss. Then we made oobleck! We learned that some liquids/solids are odd and cannot be classified.
On Thursday, we had a quiz. Then, we made floats! We observed that the pop was a liquid, the ice cream was a solid and the bubbles that formed were a gas!
