Our second classic Fairy Tale that we read was Goldilocks and The Three Bears. After we finished reading we completed a story map.
Then our critter, "Purpose Pig," helped us figure out what the authors purpose was. The students decided that the authors purpose was to entertain readers.
We then read a fractured version of the story called, "Goldilocks Has Chicken Pox." Our critter "C.C Cow," helped us compare and contrast the two stories.
