Field Trip Fun

We were provided the opportunity to attend the Science Centre/IMAX on March 29th. We began our day at the education center where we learned about Saskatchewan animal habitats and adaptations. We spent the rest of the morning exploring the Science Centre, visiting each exhibit. We spent the afternoon at the IMAX where we watched the film, Amazon Adventure and learned about a variety of animals and insects.

Throughout the month of March we completed a variety of Spring/Easter themed activities. 

We competed a bunny directed drawing. 

We completed an Easter egg inferencing activity.

Arts Education

In visual arts, we read "The Dot" & "ISH," by Peter Reynolds. After, we created our own dot design using a variety of art materials and we also created an "ish" painting by crumpling up water colour paper. We used a variety of colours to create an abstract art piece.
