Insect & Bug Research Reports

The grade 1 & 2's have been working hard on their bug/insect research reports. Each group focused on a different insect to research. They had to gather information on what their insect looks like, what their insect eats, where their insect lives and one fun fact!

Matter Experiments

Last week, we made Oobleck. We discovered that it is a liquid and a solid! We also made rootbeer floats to represent the three states of matter. 

STEM Challenge

We made boats out of recycled materials to observe what objects float vs. what objects sink. 

Leprechaun Traps!

For St. Patrick's Day we completed a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) activity where we made leprechaun traps! Unfortunately, we did not catch a leprechaun but he did cause mischief and left us a letter with treats!
