Butterfly Lifecycle
Our caterpillars arrived! We will be studying their life cycle over the next few weeks and we will watch them turn into butterflies!

Butterfly Life Cycle
Day 13: 32/33 chrysalides were moved to the flight cage.
Day 14: 2/33 butterflies emerged from their chrysalides.
Day 15: 5/33 butterflies have emerged from their chrysalids. Everyone was really excited! We were lucky enough to watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis and pump blood to its wings.
Day 16: 20/33 butterflies have emerged from their chrysalids!
Day 17: 31/33 butterflies have emerged from their chrysalids!
