My name is Taylor Vanchu and I will be your child’s Grade 1 teacher this year! In April of 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree (Pre K-Grade 3) at the University of Regina. I am currently taking night classes at the University of Regina to complete my M.Ed in Educational Psychology. I am going into my 7th year of teaching. I completed my first two years of teaching at Kennedy Langbank School as the K/1/2 classroom teacher. This will be my fifth year teaching at Emerald Ridge Elementary.
I grew up in Pilot Butte,
Saskatchewan. During my childhood/teen years I enjoyed dancing &
cheerleading! I cheered with the U of R Cougars throughout my four years at
university where we won two national titles in 2010 & 2012! When I manage
to find free time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, working out (Teaching BodyPump classes at GoodLife), traveling, baking, and spending time with my dog Tucker.
