Field Trip
On Friday, June 9th we went on our year end field trip! In the morning, we went Glow Bowling at the Golden Mile and in the afternoon we went to the IMAX to watch Great White Shark 3D. It was a fun filled day!
Reader's Theater
Throughout the month of May/June we have been learning about Fairy Tales. In Writer's Workshop we have been creating our own Fairy Tales and in Arts Education/ELA we have been working on Reader's Theater. Last week we presented our Fairy Tale plays to Mrs. Harding's class.
Picnic Lunch
On June 2nd, we had a lunch picnic. This was the reward the Grade 2's chose for filling up their Brownie Point pan! Good job Grade 2!
STEM Activity
Last week, we completed a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) project. For this project, each student had to build a waterproof critter house using a variety of materials.
