Last day!

Thats a wrap! Yesterday was the last day of school! We had a fantastic day. In the morning we cleaned up the room, read a few stories, played some games, and had a talking circle! In the afternoon we had the grade 8 farewell and assembly in the gym. 

I am very proud of how far all the students have come this year and I can't wait to see how much they grow next year. Good luck to the Grade 2's who will be heading into Mrs. Bone's room next year for Grade 3! You will be greatly missed by all of us. I am excited to meet the new batch of Kindergartens in the fall! Have a wonderful, well deserved summer vacation!!

Oceans

On Wednesday we had our ocean party! 

In the morning we made sandcastles and played ocean games including, shark island, octopus tag and sharks and minnows! 

We were supposed to have a picnic outside but it was moved to the gym due to the rainy weather! The students enjoyed their lunch and a jello snack! 

In the afternoon we enjoyed watching the movie, Dolphin Tale, on the big screen in the gym! 

Field Trip

On Tuesday our entire school went to Regina to visit the Science Center, IMAX and Boston Pizza! It was worth the 2 hour bus ride.

First we explored the Dinosaur Unearthed Exhibit. 

Then we went to the Science Center! 

Next, we went to the IMAX and watched Kenya 3D! 

Last stop, Boston Pizza! 

Long bus ride home!
