Cinderella

For the month of January & February we will be doing a Fairy Tale Unit. 

The first fairy tale we read was,  Cinderella. First we read the classic version, then our critter, "Elements Elephant," helped us fill in the story map. 

Then our critter, "Spike the Summarizer," helped us summarize the story.

After, we discussed what it would be like to have a fairy godmother. We brainstormed ideas on what we would ask our fairy godmother for. The students came up with many great ideas! 

We also read the fractured version, "Cinder-elly." We compared each story using our critter, "CC Cow."
