For the past two weeks in Writer's Workshop the grade 1/2's have been learning about sequencing and How-To writing. We started the unit by sequencing the steps on how to make a smoothie, then we made smoothies as a class! We linked this to our matter/senses unit and talked about dissolving, and altering types of matter.
