On Tuesday, we learned about fish! We read Not Norman, by Kelly Bennett and then we discussed why a fish is a good pet! After, we read a nonfiction story about aquarium fish.
On Wednesday, we had a special visitor! Tucker came in to teach us about how to care for a pet & pet safety. We learned how to properly feed a dog from our hand, how to teach a dog to sit and shake and how to walk a dog. We also learned that it is important that we keep our dogs on a leash, unless we are in a fenced yard. It is also important that we don't go up to strange dogs unless we ask the owner first! Tucker showed off all his tricks! He showed the students how he can sit "pretty", lay down, high five, shake a paw, spin, take a bow and roll over
On Thursday, we learned about hamsters! We read a non-fiction story then wrote down all the things we learned about hamsters!
