Well…that
is a wrap! Thank you everyone at KLS for all the support over the past two
years. I am so thankful for the experiences I had. I have learned so much from
the students, staff and parents and I will never forget the memories we
created. I will always hold KLS close to my heart as it was my first teaching
job. I am so proud of each student I have taught…I have learned so much from
all of them. Good luck in the new school year…I know it will be fantastic! (Remember
it’s not “goodbye”…it’s “see you later!”) Have a GREAT summer! School resumes September 1st, 2015.

Last Day Of School!
Today was the last day of school...and my last day at Kennedy Langbank School!
In the morning we read, "The Berenstain Bears Graduation." Then, we had circle time and answered the following questions...
1. What was your favourite day of the entire school year? What made it so special?
2. What was the best field trip our class took? Why?
3. What was your favourite subject this year? Why?
4. What are you going to miss next year?
5. What are you looking forward to next year?
6. What are your summer plans?
After, we went around the room and got everyone's "autographs." Then we finished watching The Lion King!
After recess, we had our kindergarten graduation & classroom awards.
Kindergarten 2014-2015 *Missing...Raiden & Sophie* |
Grade One 2014-2015 *Missing Belle* |
Grade Two 2014-2015 |
In the afternoon, we had our farewell to staff and the grade 8's and our thank you to the SCC/volunteer presentations.
To end the day we said our goodbyes and exchanged gifts. The students got a "bucket full" of fun...which included a pail, chalk, bubbles, a sucker, a canada flag and freezies!

African Safari
Today was Safari day! Everyone dressed up as an African animal, or a safari guide! Some students also wore animal print!
In the afternoon we went on a Safari! We got our plane tickets and flew to Africa! When we arrived in Africa we went on a "safari" outside! We saw leopards, lions, hippos, rhinos, gazelles, monkeys, giraffes and zebras! We also found 10 leaves with sight words.
